Yes! It's back, our Festive Fun Run!!

Following the great success of last year's event, we are holding another 5k Fun Run this year. We had over 120 runners last year who gathered at the Flamstead Pavilion for a quick warm up before heading onto the 5km route. There was a wonderful mix of generations, from babies in running buggies to octagenarians, all walking or running the route together, some with dogs in tow, but all with smiles on their faces!
A really lovely community event joined by runners from other parts of Hertfordshire, all gathered together to have some fun whilst raising money for our charity. There was such a happy buzz in the pavilion as people warmed up after the run, helped by hot drinks, mulled wine and cider with festive nibbles.
We were delighted to have raised almost £1,750 - a fantastic amount of money from a mix of ticket sales, raffle sales, the Chairman's Challenge, food donations and other generous donations. We'd love to beat that amount this year!

Our last fundraising event was running the Tea & Cake stall at this year's Village Show in September 2026. We had a great response from our appeal for cake donations, and were able to sell a really fantastic range of cakes, muffins, biscuits and scones. We raised over £550 in just 4 hours - amazing how much it all adds up! Our big thanks goes to all those who donated their delicious home baked cakes, scones, buns or other tea treats and also to those who bought from us.
Last but not least, many thanks to those lovely ladies who helped us at the stall on the day - Barbara, Carol, Katherine, Louise, Sushmita and Tracey - we couldn't have done it without you.
