MANY CONGRATULATIONS TO SARAH LAVER!

The Wish Tree Charity want to express our sincere thanks and gratitude to Sarah Laver for raising over £3000 for our Charity.

She successfully completed the London Marathon on Sunday 28th April in 3 hours 48 mins which is an amazing achievement. We had the pleasure of attending this fantastic event to support Sarah and it was such a great atmosphere.  Fortunately it was ideal weather conditions for running and spectating. We managed to see her at two stages along the course and endeavoured to get an actual photo of her running on the day but she was too fast!

We want to thank her for all her hard work and dedication in training and in raising such a fantastic amount. We know this has meant a lot to her due her close friendship with someone who the Charity supported during their illness and sadly passed away last year.

We would also like to thank all the villagers, friends and family who donated and supported Sarah too – it’s very much appreciated.

All monies donated will go directly to supporting Flamstead residents undergoing surgery, major illness or bereavement.
