RACE NIGHT DONATION
All those associated with the Wish Tree Charity would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Mark, Charlotte and all their staff at the Spotted Dog for hosting the race night at the pub on Friday 28th February and making The Wish Tree their nominated beneficiary for the night. Once the races had been run, the steward enquiries all settled, Charlotte was happy to confirm that the sum raised for the Wish Tree was £770.

We cannot extend enough thanks to the Spotted Dog for this generous donation to the charity. It will further help our work within the village helping Flamstead residents facing serious illness, injury, major surgery or bereavement. In addition to thanking the Spotted Dog we would also like to thank all those who attended. Whilst I am sure you will all have had a fun filled evening, your generosity helped us reach the staggering sum that was raised and thank you so much for your support.

Our next fund-raising event will be when Henry Biggs takes on the London Marathon on the 27th of April, with Henry very generously donating all the money he raises to the Wish Tree Charity. Henry is deep into his training schedule and is being helped by Harpenden Medical who have donated 10 sessions of cryotherapy and 10 sessions of red light therapy to help him through his challenge. Anyone who would like to add to the funds that Henry has already raised, please visit his just giving page at the following address:
